How race-day photography, filming and participant media are handled.

CCR events and related activities may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed or otherwise recorded by CCR, accredited media, sponsors and authorised production teams. Recording may occur in public and participant areas where individual consent for every crowd image is not practicable.
CCR may use event recordings for reporting, safety review, results, archives, promotion, advertising, sponsorship reporting, community storytelling and future CCR communications in print, digital, broadcast and social channels.
Where the law requires specific consent, CCR will request it. By knowingly posing for an individual interview, portrait, testimonial or organised content capture, you permit CCR to record and use that contribution for the stated purpose, subject to applicable law.
A parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent for identifiable, arranged content featuring a child or young participant. CCR aims to apply additional care to the use of such material.
You may contact hello@capitalcityrace.com with a reasonable privacy or safety concern about an identifiable image. Include enough information to locate the material. Removal may not be possible where content has been lawfully published, printed, archived, independently reported or shared beyond CCR’s control, but requests will be considered under applicable law.
Participants and spectators must act respectfully, avoid obstructing the event, comply with restricted-area instructions and not use images unlawfully or in a way that violates another person’s privacy or safety. Commercial capture may require prior accreditation.
